Course Description
The Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Technician course is a highly practical and technical program designed to prepare students to install, operate, maintain, and repair refrigeration, air conditioning, and domestic hot water (DHW) systems used in domestic, commercial, and industrial environments. This course develops strong expertise in HVAC systems, refrigeration technologies, energy efficiency, thermal behavior of buildings, system automation, and environmental protection.
Students will be trained to plan, organize, coordinate, and execute installation and maintenance operations for refrigeration and HVAC systems, including compressors, motors, pumps, fans, automation systems, and safety devices. The program also emphasizes preventive and corrective maintenance, system diagnostics, fault detection, performance testing, and operational optimization.
